In extreme or field conditions, there is periodically a need for quick access to medicines and other essential items. For this reason, pouches are often used during certain combat missions. Their main purpose is to carry or store certain items, shooting magazines.

Types of pouches

The currently available pouches are attached to a PALS-platform equipped bulletproof vest by means of a special attachment. This Natick Snap attachment is in the form of a nylon strap with a button. Carefully thought out fastening allows you to firmly fix the pouch and exclude its unbuckling at the most inopportune moment. By the way, similar fastening is also used when you need to carry charging stations, weapons, etc.

Body armour kit pouch

Previously, in order to distribute all the products and medicines in the pouch, you had to make the appropriate changes yourself. More recently, medicine pouches have been introduced with special tabs and quick-opening systems. A reliably made pouch ensures unhindered fulfilment of tasks. For this purpose, it must be properly equipped. You can also fix such first aid kits on the stovepipes, which are presented in a wide range in our shop.

There is room in the pouch for:

  • of a tourniquet harness;
  • tactical scissors;
  • medical nitrile gloves;
  • of various bandages and band-aids;
  • bandages.

The contents of the kit can be added to or modified. For this purpose, the conditions in which the fighter will be in will be taken into account. Professionals can complete the first aid kit pouch. They will also help to place them on body armour for women or men.

Discharge pouch for ejection of fired magazines

This type of pouch can be compact or more spacious. They can hold from 6 to 12 shot magazines. These pouches can be made of different materials. They differ in shape and configuration.

A list of the most popular kits include:

  • Belt or molle. The models are characterised by convenience and ease of use. Such pouches are supplemented with a ribbon.
  • Stationary. They can be folded and moved.Soft and wear-resistant nylon is used to prepare the inserts. Tapes are not included in their composition.

The presented models differ not only in shape and equipment, but also in size and colour. To choose the right colour, you should be guided by the conditions in which the pouch will be used.

Example of attaching the pouches to a bulletproof vest

Several popular types of fasteners are used to secure the pouches to the body armour.

  • MOLLE and PALS. These types of fasteners comply with current standards. MOLLE fastening requires the vertical elements to be threaded between pre-prepared slings. The slings are centred on the rear side of the pouch, allowing everything to be securely fastened.
  • Natick Snap. The distinctive feature of this type of attachment is a special nylon strap supplemented with a button. This provides a rigid and reliable fastening. The cost of such fasteners is low.

To take with you on a combat mission everything you need, the body armour can be supplemented with pouches that are prepared for a rifle or a handgun, or another set.
